Science Without Faith is Dead

Science – ‘Scienta’ – Latin for Knowledge

Knowledge Without God is Vanity – Science Without Faith is Dead

 1Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
 2And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
 3If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
 4He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
 5Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
 6But godliness with contentment is great gain.
 7For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
 8And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
 9But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
 10For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
 11But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
 12Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
 13I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
 14That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
 15Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
 16Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
 17Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
 18That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
 19Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
 20O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
 21Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen. (1 Timothy 6, King James Version)

A Christian Reads the Bible to learn that Jesus is the Christ, Son of the living God

 16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. (Matthew 16:16, King James Version)
 63But Jesus held his peace, And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. (Matthew 26:63, King James Version)
 69And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. (John 6:69, King James Version)
 14How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9:14, King James Version)

Christian – of Christ – Jesus Christ – Son of the Living God –  “the lamb of God” – Our Lord and Saviour

What is the Christ?

 1The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. (Matthew 1:1, King James Version)
 16And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. (Matthew 1:16, King James Version)
 17So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations. (Matthew 1:17, King James Version)
 18Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 1:18, King James Version)
 3When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
 4And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
 5And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, (Matthew 2:3-5, King James Version)
 1And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.
 2Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
 3And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? (Matthew 11:1-3, King James Version)
 15He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
 16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
 17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 16:15-17, King James Version)
 1And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
 2The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
 3And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
 4Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
 5But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
 6And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
 7But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
 8Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
 9Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
 10So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
 11And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
 12And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
 13Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
 14For many are called, but few are chosen.
 15Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.
 16And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.
 17Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
 18But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
 19Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.
 20And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
 21They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.
 22When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
 23The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
 24Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
 25Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
 26Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
 27And last of all the woman died also.
 28Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
 29Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
 30For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. (Matthew 22, King James Version)

What a great exercise – going to the heart of Jesus – Christ – Lamb of God – Prince of Peace – Savior – The Lord our Righteousness – the Messiah – the Annointed of God – our Father in heaven who has ordained all things – has annointed Jesus, His Son, to be the Messiah, The Savior, the Christ,The Lamb of God.

Aghh! What About Sin?
Read the Bible
Read the Bible
 38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38, King James Version)
 7For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
 8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
 9Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. (Romans 5:7-9, King James Version)
 11Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:11, King James Version)
 22But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
 23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:22-23, King James Version)
 24O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
 25I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. (Romans 7:24-25, King James Version)
 1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
 3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: (Romans 8:1-3, King James Version)
 9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
 10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
 11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. (Romans 8:9-11, King James Version)
 24The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
 25Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
 26But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: (Romans 16:24-26, King James Version)
 16Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
 17But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
 18For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. (Galatians 2:16-18, King James Version)
 4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
 5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
 6And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: (Ephesians 2:4-6, King James Version)
 14And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
 15This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
 16Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. (1 Timothy 1:14-16, King James Version)

What else may I say about Christian, Jesus, Bible, Christ matters?

 14And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
 15This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

How will you know when Jesus calls?
In simplicity, if we call upon our Father, the Lord God, that his beloved Son, the Christ Jesus, will come into our heart – to be our Lord and Master – to be our friend: Lord Jesus will come – he will answer.

 13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
 14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
 15If ye love me, keep my commandments. (John 14:13-15, King James Version)
 25These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
 26At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
 27For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. (John 16:25-27, King James Version)

(more info)wow, Marshall Hall sounds gorgeous on this song. The crowd really loves him, and the entire gaither vocal band for that matter

When I go to the Lord Jesus, so weak and miniscule, it is his love which lifts me up.
Peace, and goodwill today. And gratitude – that the beloved Son of the living God would love me, and all who will call to him with a humble heart.

Jesus & Monarch Butterfly: My Soul is Like a Butterfly, and my spirit yearns for freedom, beauty and peace. And we shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye!

Blogs on the go! Over recent months I have been using  google.com , blogger.com , and twitter.com to blog and publish information about the Lord Jesus and Monarch butterflies. Jesus came first, of course, and more recently Monarch butterflies. This post is to clarify for readers which blogs are primarily about Jesus, and which ones are primarily about the Monarch butterfly. Starting at the beginning is probably best!

jesusbranch.com is a blogger.com blog. I started there and established the user name jesusbranch at quite a few social networking sites – to try them out, and to publish my thoughts and feelings about Jesus. The following list is some of the places you can find me @ jesusbranch:

jesusbranch, or Jesus Branch, is the name I have chosen to confess with my mouth that the Christ Jesus is the Son of the living God – our Father. Jesus as the BRANCH is drawn from the bible – as follows:

 1And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
 2And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
 3And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: (Isaiah 11:1-3, King James Version)

 4And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.
 5Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
 6In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. (Jeremiah 23:4-6, King James Version)

 7Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
 8Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
 9For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. (Zechariah 3:7-9, King James Version)

 11Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;
 12And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
 13Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. (Zechariah 6:11-13, King James Version)

 1I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
 2Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
 3Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
 4Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
 5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
 6If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
 7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (John 15:1-7, King James Version)

I have used photos taken from our Monarch Butterfly Garden to add colour and interest to my Jesus Branch work, which also includes the blogger.com blog god-and-jesus.com  It is interesting to note that “Psyche” translates form the original Greek as ‘mind’, ‘spirit’, and ‘butterfly’! There is of course the clear symbol of metamorphosis – and the transformation from one state of being into another. In the case of ourselves,- we could consider metamorphosis as the transformation from a natural body into a spiritual one. And without getting too serious, everyone can understand that our soul would like to be like a butterfly – happy, beautiful, and free! With wings of course!

So, visitors to Perth Butterfly, our new butterfly blog;  Perthbutterfly, our butterfly Twitter; or our new butterfly website,  Monarch Butterfly Garden, are likely to come across jesusbranch or Jesus Branch (Following Jesus)

"You Held On" – Eddie Ruth Bradford (directed by K. Lipsey)

Jesus, You Held On

 12Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
 13But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. (1 Peter 4:12-13, King James Version)

I remember the inner vision during a recent time of extreme pain; suffering; trial; and tribulation. It was ‘crawling’ on my belly into the room where Jesus was: crawling across the room to his feet and grabbing hold of the hem of his garment – and just holding on there. In the inner vision, and inner prayer, I wasn’t rejected – or condemned, but accepted.

I have graduated! I’m still holding on the the hem of the Lord Jesus’ garments, but now I’m on my knees.

 20And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
 21For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. (Matthew 9:19-21, King James Version)

 35And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;
 36And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole. (Matthew 14:35-36, King James Version)

I posted a little while back of the child-like inner vision of knocking on the great door in heaven, and hearing, “come in.” When I go in, it is still straight to the feet of the Lord Jesus, and grabbing hold of the hem of his garment. I dare not even look up, and imagine that I may look upon the LORD God – who sits beside the Lord Jesus – but I am accepted there – and it is there that pure Spirit is.

 6Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
 7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
 8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (Matthew 7:6-8, King James Version)

 19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
 20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
 21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. (Revelation 3:19-21, King James Version)

So, beloved, hold on! Try to get an inner picture of literally hoding on to the hem of the Lord Jesus’ garments. Through the pain or trouble; self – demons or self – condemnation; hold on! And our Lord, the Christ Jesus will come in to the broken and repentful heart.

Not only will the Lord Jesus come in, but the holy Spirit of our magnificent Father in heaven will begin to create a new life for you.

Peace and Comfort be to you, in the name of the Christ, Jesus – Son of the living God.

Consolation in Christ

1If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
2Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
3Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
4Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. (Philippians 2:1-13, King James Version)
